Groen INA Inclined Agitation Kettle:

  The Groen INA style kettle is a stainless steel kettle, jacketed, with inclined. The agitators are mounted on an angle.  This ensures that thicker products receive a "flip and fold" type mixing.  The agitator and agitators are mounted with independent gear boxes and spin opposite of each other.  The main agitation scrapes the side and bottom walls of the kettle while the secondary agitation, if equipped, spins independently, counter clockwise, of the main agitation. Both agitators have seperate gear boxes and have independent controls, including variable speeds drives.  The INA series is made specifically for products with higher viscosities.  Lower viscosity products should use other styles of agitation as the INA series will be ineffective.

  The kettle body is stainless steel, 304 type, with contact areas 316 stainless steel. The kettle is jacketed, 1/2 type, with a standard jacket pressure rating of 45 PSI, and options of up to 125 PSI are available. The kettle is available in sizes from 40 gallons to 1,000 gallons with fully custom configurations available. The kettles are built according to ASME specifications and include National Board registry.
